AUSTRALIAN AGATES
This is a large polished piece that I cut from a huge chunk of opal that I bought at a yard sale in the San Fernando Valley in California many years ago. The people I bought it from had a friend who was an opal miner in Australia who'd sent it to them, & they weren't interested in keeping it. Although technically not an agate, I had to include it here because of it's size & beauty, & I had to show it off!
It was marked $7.00 & I got it for $5.00!
